One-on-one mentoring is walking alongside a young person, helping them set goals, and then journeying with them to achieve those goals. They could be short, medium or long term, but we ensure they are Specific Measurable Achievable Relevant Time-bound (SMART) goals, so they are attainable. We have mentors from different backgrounds and experiences, so we make sure we match the young person with the most suitable mentor.
We also offer programmes that we deliver in schools, alternative education, private training establishments and other community groups. These programmes are mainly around mental well-being using the mediums of art, sport, leadership, and addiction but with a cultural twist. We understand not all young people learn the same, so we utilise different styles of delivery for the more hands on, kinaesthetic learner.
